Summer Road Trip: Ark Encounter!
This summer my family and I took a road trip visiting national and state parks, with the dog of course. It made for a lot of bloopers and laughter. One of our favorite spots was the Ark Encounter in Williamstown, KY. It was amazing. Funny enough it was raining the day we went. The founder of the park, Ken Ham, built a life size replica of the Ark from Genesis. It is enormous. Inside it is modeled to reflect how it may have been at the time based on knowledge available about the people who lived on the earth at that time. For anyone who thinks this is fairy tale stuff, you're wrong. I encourage you to check out their website. I've posted some pictures below. But there is a ton of information dealing with science, history, culture, etc. dispersed throughout the Ark. I'll place a link to their site below and to their sister establishment, the Creation Museum. We unfortunately didn't get to go there since time was not permitting. We spent a whole day at the Ark and could've spent longer. Well worth it.
